Frequently Asked Questions
Learn How it Works!
What is Pure hemp CBD extract?
Pure Hemp CBD Extract is an oil extracted from the flowers of hemp plants. Using a process similar to that used to make vanilla extract, the dried hemp flowers are washed with a food grade alcohol. Then the alcohol is evaporated, leaving only the extract from the hemp flower. This extract is very sticky and fragrant at this stage. Our CBD extract is tested for everything from residual pesticides to heavy metals and more. Once it has passed these tests, the oil is used to make our products.
How much CBD do I take per dose?
Each dose is tailored to the specific issues on a client to client basis and titrated to the desired effectiveness. Our team of nurses and Nurse Practitioners not only assess each client prior to initializing treatment but they also help individualize the treatments and are always available for questions or guidance.
What are Cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are naturally occurring chemical compounds found in abundance in the cannabis plant. These compounds act on cannabinoid receptor cells throughout the body to insight various responses. CBD is one individual cannabinoid, but there are more than 130 other identified cannabinoids in the cannabis plant.
What is third party Testing and why is this important when purchasing CBD products?
Third party testing is done independently of the manufacturer. Each product will come with a full Certificate of Analysis verifying what is and is not in each individual product giving you the peace of mind prior to taking the product. This is important for many reasons. Some products can contain pesticides or other unwanted and harmful chemicals and further some products may contain THC when they were not supposed to or may contain higher levels of THC than legally allowed. With our products ( which contain 0% THC) you can not only verify this for yourself but also be able to print your own copy for your records. Each product will have a green label with a number on it that will be your specific reference number when looking up your Certificate of Analysis.
Will I fail a drug screen when taking CBD Products?
All of our products Contain 0% THC. Most drug screens check for THC. Many of our clients work in schools, healthcare, and other areas that often perform random drug screens so this element is very important to us. With the Certificate of Analysis you can have peace of mind that our products contain 0% THC.
How do I take CBD oil?
Our oral CBD is an oil-based tincture that is best taken sublingually, which means under the tongue. Holding the oil underneath the tongue for 30-45 seconds increases the bioavailability of the product. Our topical CBD cream is applied directly to the skin at the area of concern.
Can I take CBD oil with my current medications?
While our team of Nurse Practitioners and nurses assess each client individually , we do recommend you consult your physician before adding anything new into your specific medication protocol or changing your medication dosage.
What is the Endocannabinoid System?
The ECS is a system in the body which contains receptors made to interact with cannabinoids. This system is naturally present in all animals with vertebrae. After much study of the ECS, researchers found that the system helps regulate appetite, pain-sensation, mood and memory among other things. These effects are generated once cannabinoids combine or interact with receptors in the ECS.
What is Recovery Room’s Return policy of CBD products?
